This is about you, me, and all of us who share the common goal of living in a world free from poverty and violence. We believe that there are ample ideas and resources available, but the number of people willing to deliver them is scarce. We are here to work together, bridge that gap, and deliver.

Founded on December 10, 2001, the Peoples Foundation for Scientific Socio-Economic Development (PeFSSED) dedicates its minds and efforts to addressing critical issues of our society. Our mission is to foster the overall development of the underprivileged. Deprivations can occur across various dimensions: education, health, amenities, livelihood options, social status, political freedom, scientific, liberal, and non-violent outlook, and more. PeFSSED is committed to contributing to the ecosystem to ensure a meaningful life for every citizen of India and the world.

PeFSSED believes in creating a strong network, an expanding chain of individuals who are mature at heart, spirited in mind, and passionate in action. Our dynamic team comprises people from diverse fields: engineering, medicine, management, social work, academics, science, arts, commerce, and more. Our projects are designed to suit all committed and passionate individuals, including professionals, who form a significant portion of PeFSSED members.

Registered on November 20, 2002, under the Society Registration Act 1860, PeFSSED has grown steadily, not just in numbers but in impact and relationships. Our grassroots work in city slums and remote villages—such as teaching underprivileged children, providing skills training, reusing old items, and establishing rural libraries and computer centers—reflects PeFSSED’s commitment to development. We strive for freedom from ignorance, hunger, injustice, exploitation, and over-consumption, aiming to create a more equitable and environmentally friendly world. In summary, we have successfully taken the first steps, but we are committed to continuing our journey.

The real question is not whether you want to join us, but “Can you and we be part of this resolve together?”
