Knowledge is power. Computer education is a gateway to knowledge. In rural and remote areas there is a lack of availability of computer education. This affects the employability of rural youths. The availability of computer centres within the village eliminates the difficulty of a painful commute for the villagers, particularly the students who are interested in learning computers. The computer centres can potentially act as a standalone knowledge centres in the village premises.

PRICE stands for “PeFSSED Rural Institute for Computer Education”. PRICE is a PeFSSED initiative to make village youth computer-learned, and thereby improve their skills in information technology. The idea behind PRICE is to make technologies and facilities reach villages rather than confining the same to the boundaries of urban space. In the long run, as the economy becomes more and more digital, physical location will have less and less significance, and this will address the issue of high workspace prices in urban and facilitate the creation of a skilled workforce in rural India.

Every youth has the right to dream. That’s what PeFSSED professes. Through PRICE, the organization attempts to create opportunities for every youth not only to dream big but also to fulfil the same.

Currently we are running two PRICE centers, one in Marthapur, Dhenkanal, Odisha and other in Sujanpur, Jajpur, Odisha.
