PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION

Pre-school education is a stepping stone to formal schooling. The objective of this initiative is to develop interest among children and their parents towards school-education. The activities involve arousing interest, boosting morale and teaching basic skills to kids such as ability to identify, read, write and comprehend so that the children can transition to Standard I smoothly. The activities also aim towards inculcating logical, analytical and other forms of reasoning ability and develop scientific temper among the children. Most of the activities are in story telling and fun mode. The initiative includes creating awareness of the benefits of education among parents through periodic Parent Teachers Meetings and other curricular and extra-curricular events so that they are encouraged to enroll their children at Primary level and encourage them for further education. It also offers help to parents when they face problems in enrolling children to school.
